Proper form of every exercise is the first step to building a fitness foundation, especially for beginners. If you learn good habits from the start you will succeed at a much greater speed and you will see results almost immediately. If you are unsure of your form, always be sure to ask a health professional for help. And never (ever) sacrifice form to progress in weight load. Proper form will ultimately prevent injury, so don't mess with it!
