Salmon is what’s for dinner! At the beginning of this summer I mentioned in a post that I was completing a 21-day De-Bloat program with Sabrina. I know a lot of you can probably relate to bloating - I know that I had been having way too much mommy juice and eating out a lot and all of this caused me to bloat! That’s why I was so keen to commit to just 21 days to help keep the bloating at bay and guess what? I saw results!

I was consistent with workouts, which I took from my personal No Tummy Mommy Kickstart Program and followed Sabrina’s personalized meal plan for just 21 days. A lot of the meals included foods I was already eating, but there is one dish that hit home every single time. This Asian-inspired salmon dish is something I still make on the regular and the entire family enjoys it! I love it so much I told Sabrina we just had to share it with you as one of our signature So Yummy Mommy recipes.

If you love fish and don’t have time to get all fancy in the kitchen, this recipe’s for you. It’s simple, the prep time is minimal and the kids will devour it. Promise! Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 tsp fresh minced garlic

1 tsp fresh minced ginger

3 tbsp coconut aminos

1 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Directions:

Whisk all ingredients together. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. To finish, sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onion. Serve with a side of vegetables (like asparagus or broccoli) and a serving of rice. Mmm … it’s SO good!

We love having fish for a light lunch or dinner! There are so many benefits to including fish in your diet. Fish is not only loaded with important nutrients, such as protein and vitamin D, but it’s also a great source of omega-3 fatty acids! Watch our video to see us get busy in the kitchen making one of my fave dishes!
