Halloween is just around the corner, so it’s time to get those creative juices flowing and think about some cute costume ideas! Whether it’s for the gram or just for your own eyes only, dressing up for Halloween is always fun. I get it - buying a costume in the store can sometimes come with a hefty price tag! If you want to save some cash, it’s time to get on your DIY horse. Some other examples include: Danny and Sandy from Grease, Dora and Diego, Rock stars, Hula fam, school girls, professional athletes in their game jerseys, besties from the 70s or Zobmies (or mummies like we did here).

If you prefer to let the kids do their own thing, get your partner to step up and play along. I really do love a good couples themed outfit. JLo and P Diddy is a fan favourite, but other great couples outfits are: Kim K and Kanye, Batman and Robin, Bonnie and Clyde, Superman and Superwoman!

If you’re looking for a quick idea for a family theme this halloween, superoheroes are the way to go. There are so may options and some that you can do for a big or small family. We are big Avengers fans, but you can simply go with Batman and Robin, The Incredbiles or even PJ Masks!

The Flip the Switch challenge was a viral dance trend on TikTok in 2020, which used a Drake lyric to get people to trade identities with each other. This is a fun idea you can do with your partner and it doesn’t cost a penny!
When in doubt, pick a movie
If you’re still stuck on ideas, try going through your list of favourite movies. The options are endless and you can blow people out of the water with your creativity! Have fun with this one because you really can’t go wrong! Some ideas include: Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, Wayne’s World, or The Breakfast Club.
